but only you see

i catch it for you
the things that I see
Our thoughts are fed by information from our senses. All our senses work simultaneously to make sure we’re nourished.
But once in a while we encounter a frozen sense,
a frozen sense of hearing in a song, a frozen sense of taste in a flavor, a frozen sense of sight in a photograph …
If the image catches us, we’re compelled to pause. Take a break from all the other senses and just focus on this our sense of sight, even for a while, or for a longer while. Then we’re not only nourished, something in us is nurtured.

Images are from century-old houses called Bahay na Bato from various regions in the Philippines.
Images are from a metal works factory in Valenzuela specializing in massive custom formed steel contracts.
Images are of inch size buds in Tagaytay.
